New gel cuts bleeding in major spine surgery, study finds

This study tested a product called ARISTA-AH to see if it helps control bleeding during long spinal fusion surgery. 91 adults having surgery on at least five back bones took part. The main goal was to measure blood loss in the first 24 hours after surgery.
