This study tested a new drug called CNTX-6970 in 55 adults aged 40 to 90 with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis pain. The goal was to see if the drug safely reduces pain compared to a placebo over 24 weeks. Participants used a mobile app to report their pain levels.
