New drug IB-001 enters first human tests for chronic hepatitis b

This early-stage study tests a new drug called IB-001 for chronic hepatitis B. It will first check safety in up to 60 healthy volunteers, then test multiple doses in about 30 people with chronic hepatitis B. The main goal is to see if the drug is safe and how the body handles it.
