New heart pump trial offers hope for advanced heart failure patients

This study tests a new heart pump (CorWave LVAS) in 20 people with advanced heart failure. The pump helps the heart pump blood when medicines are no longer working. The main goal is to see if the device is safe and helps people survive for at least 30 days after surgery.
