New eye drug aims to halt blindness in rare genetic disease

This study tests a drug called ultevursen for people with retinitis pigmentosa caused by changes in the USH2A gene. The drug is injected into the eye and may help slow the loss of vision over two years. About 81 adults and children ages 8 and older will take part.
