New study aims to slash opioid use after open-heart surgery

This study tests which nerve block technique better controls pain after open-heart surgery. 66 adults will receive one of two ultrasound-guided injections before surgery. The goal is to reduce the need for strong painkillers (opioids) and improve comfort during recovery.
