Combined generalized and focal epilepsy

Any epilepsy where patients have both generalized and focal seizure types, with interictal and/or ictal EEG findings that accompany both seizure types. Patients with Dravet syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome may have combined focal and generalized epilepsy.
