New pill VENT-03 aims to calm lupus skin flares

Summary

This study tests whether VENT-03, a tablet, can reduce skin inflammation in people with active cutaneous lupus (with or without systemic lupus). 24 adults will take VENT-03 or a placebo for 4 weeks, then everyone gets VENT-03 for 8 more weeks. Researchers will check skin severity and side effects.
