New hope for leukemia patients: experimental combo enters late-stage trial

Summary
This phase 3 study compares two drug combinations for people with untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). One group gets sonrotoclax plus zanubrutinib, the other gets venetoclax plus acalabrutinib. The goal is to see which combination works better and is safer. About 500 adults who have not had prior CLL treatment will take part.
