New study aims to tame Myeloma's hidden side effects after transplant

NCT ID NCT05947136

First seen May 18, 2026

Summary

This study tests a proactive health program called PASCA for adults aged 18 to 70 with multiple myeloma who have had a stem cell transplant. The program screens for seven common complications—like high blood pressure, kidney problems, chronic pain, and fatigue—and quickly connects patients to specialists for early treatment. Researchers will compare this approach to standard care to see if it reduces these issues over two years.
