Summary
This study aims to collect and analyze tumor samples from 10,000 adults with advanced solid cancers (like breast, lung, or colon cancer) to create a province-wide gene database. The goal is to help doctors identify which targeted drugs or clinical trials might work best for each patient based on their cancer's unique genetic markers. Participants provide previously collected tumor tissue and blood samples, and their health data is linked to other records for future research. No new treatments are tested here, but the information gathered may guide more personalized cancer care.
