First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 27, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study compares a single, high-dose radiation treatment to the standard five-dose approach for women with early-stage, low-risk breast cancer. About 311 participants aged 40 and older will receive either one or five radiation sessions to the tumor site. The goal is to see if the single dose works just as well at preventing cancer from coming back in the same breast.
