New drug duo targets aggressive blood cancer in early trial

Summary

This study tests a combination of two drugs, nemtabrutinib and pembrolizumab, in 32 people with Richter transformation, a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer that arises from chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The goal is to see if the combination can shrink or eliminate tumors. Participants must have already tried other treatments or be unable to receive standard chemotherapy.
