New hope for tough lung cancer: targeted pill shows promise in early trial

Summary
This study is testing an experimental drug called MK-1084 for people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer (non-squamous NSCLC with a KRAS G12C mutation) that has gotten worse after previous treatments. The main goals are to check the drug's safety and see how many patients' tumors shrink or disappear. About 190 adults will take part, and the drug is given as a pill, sometimes with other treatments.
