Summary
This study followed over 4,400 older adults (65+) who had elective surgery to see how their frailty levels changed over time. Researchers wanted to know if different patterns of frailty after surgery were linked to the risk of dying within one year. The goal was to better understand which patients may need extra support after surgery.
