Can kids with spina bifida multitask as well as their peers? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT06949475
First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 30, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at 60 children (ages 7-18) — half with myelomeningocele (a type of spina bifida) and half without — to see how well they could perform hand tasks while also doing a second activity, like tapping or counting. The goal was to understand the challenges these children face in daily multitasking. No treatments or interventions were tested; this was purely an observation and comparison study.
