New drug ABBV-547 enters first human safety trial

Summary

This early-stage study tests a single dose of ABBV-547 in healthy adults to check its safety, how the body processes it, and any side effects. About 121 participants in the US and Japan will receive either the drug or a placebo. The study has two parts with different dosing groups.
