New heart patch put to the test: can it replace wires?
NCT ID NCT07200232
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested a new wearable ECG sensor (ZywieZ3) in 45 healthy adults to see if it records heart signals as well as traditional sticky electrodes. The sensor was worn for up to 10 days to check skin adhesion and signal quality. Researchers also tested if slightly moving the sensor's position still gives accurate readings. The goal was to see if this patch could be a reliable, long-term heart monitor.
