Cheek fat vs. Roof-of-Mouth tissue: which works better for dental implant healing?

NCT ID NCT06968780

Summary

This study compares two different gum tissue graft techniques used during cheekbone dental implant surgery. Researchers want to see which method—using fat from the cheek or tissue from the roof of the mouth—better prevents gum problems and improves healing around the implants. The trial includes patients with severe upper jawbone loss who cannot get regular dental implants.
