New eye injection trial hopes to slow vision loss in rare disease

Summary
This early-stage trial tests whether an injection called ZM-02 is safe for people with retinitis pigmentosa, a genetic condition that causes vision loss. Twelve participants with very poor vision will receive one injection in one eye. The main goal is to check for side effects, not to cure the disease.
