New injection aims to slow vision loss in rare eye disease

Summary

This early-stage trial tests a new injection called ZM-02 for people with advanced retinitis pigmentosa, a genetic eye disease that causes vision loss. The study will check if the injection is safe and if it can help improve vision or slow further damage. About 21 participants aged 6 to 60 will receive either the real injection or a sham procedure.
