This very early study tested a new medicine called ZM-01 in just 2 boys aged 3-18 with X-linked retinoschisis, a rare genetic eye condition that causes vision loss. The medicine was injected into one eye to check for safety and any improvement in sight. The main goal was to see if the treatment caused any side effects.
