New gel promises faster healing for chronic wounds

Summary
This study tests a special gel called ZKARE® on chronic wounds that are slow to heal, like pressure sores, diabetic foot ulcers, and leg ulcers. About 134 adults will either get the gel plus standard care or standard care alone. The goal is to see if the gel helps wounds close faster and is safe to use.
