NCT ID NCT07456163

First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at how the material used in the connecting piece of a dental implant (the abutment) affects the health of the gums and bone around it. Researchers will compare standard titanium abutments with custom-made zirconia ones in 71 people who already have single-tooth implants. The goal is to see which material leads to better long-term gum and bone stability.
