Zinc-Enriched bone graft may boost dental implant success

NCT ID NCT07187609

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether a bone graft made from cow bone and infused with zinc helps preserve bone around dental implants placed immediately after a tooth is pulled. Sixteen adults needing a lower jaw tooth replaced will receive either the zinc-enhanced graft or a standard graft. The main goal is to see if the zinc version reduces bone loss around the implant.
