First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests a drug called zanzalintinib (XL092) in 29 people with advanced leiomyosarcoma that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery. The drug works by blocking signals that help cancer cells grow. The goal is to see if it can slow the disease better than current treatments, which typically stop working within 4-6 months.
