Radioactive beads and immunotherapy join forces against liver cancer

NCT ID NCT07334483

First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study is for people with liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed or treated with ablation and has not spread. It compares a standard treatment (chemoembolization) against a newer approach using tiny radioactive beads (yttrium-90) alone or combined with immunotherapy drugs (camrelizumab and/or apatinib). The goal is to see which combination works better and is safe. About 120 adults aged 18 to 75 will take part.
