Digital helper aims to catch hidden high blood pressure in rural youth
NCT ID NCT05126082
Summary
This study tested a computer tool designed to help primary care doctors in rural areas better identify high blood pressure in children and teenagers during regular checkups. Researchers compared different ways of introducing the tool to doctors across 45 clinics. The goal was to see if the tool helped doctors recognize the condition more often and take the right next steps, like re-checking blood pressure or making referrals.
