Yoga may help moms of preemies bond and reduce stress
NCT ID NCT06202937
Summary
This study tested whether a mother-baby yoga program could help mothers who gave birth prematurely. Researchers wanted to see if yoga could reduce mothers' stress, anxiety, and depression while also improving their bond with their baby and easing fears about their baby's fragility. The program involved 60 mothers and their preterm babies who had been home from the hospital for 8 to 16 weeks.
