First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This early-stage study tested YM-101 eye drops in 30 adults with dry eye syndrome. Participants received either the active drops or a placebo, and then switched after a period. The main goals were to see if the drops improved eye surface health (measured by corneal staining) and to check for side effects. The study also looked at tear stability and symptom questionnaires.
