First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at whether removing a large clot from the brain (endovascular thrombectomy) plus standard care is better than standard care alone for people with a severe stroke. About 286 adults with a large clot and extensive brain damage will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. The goal is to see if the procedure improves disability and survival.
