New shot may replace IV drip for nerve disorder

NCT ID NCT07540221

First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests if a weekly shot under the skin (XEMBIFY) works as well as an IV infusion every three weeks (Gamunex-C) for people with CIDP, a chronic nerve condition. About 40 adults who are stable on IV treatment will first receive Gamunex-C for 19 weeks, then switch to XEMBIFY for 16 weeks. The goal is to see if the shot keeps similar levels of protective antibodies in the blood.
