First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This trial provides a single patient with advanced prostate cancer access to an experimental treatment called X-PACT, which combines a light-sensitive drug (methoxsalen) with X-rays to kill tumor cells and possibly trigger an immune response. The patient has no other standard treatment options left. The goal is to control the cancer locally and potentially throughout the body.
