NCT ID NCT04324580
First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether wearing a splint and doing formal physical therapy after wrist fracture surgery is necessary. 230 adults with a broken wrist were assigned to either early movement (no splint, self-guided exercises) or late movement (splint, formal therapy). The goal is to see if early movement leads to better recovery, less pain, and lower costs.
