Wrist fracture recovery: could skipping splints and therapy work better?
NCT ID NCT04324580
Summary
This study compares two recovery approaches after surgery for a broken wrist. Researchers want to know if starting movement right away with simple home exercises works as well as wearing a splint and going to formal physical therapy. They'll measure pain, wrist movement, strength, and whether the surgical repair holds up over six months.
