Summary
This study tested whether removing sugary drinks from hospital workplaces and offering brief counseling could help employees lose belly fat and improve insulin sensitivity. Over 600 full-time workers who drank at least three sugary beverages per week took part. The main measures were changes in waist size and insulin resistance after one year.
