First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study is for people whose head and neck cancer has come back after previous radiation. It tests whether giving a type of immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) along with either standard or proton radiation before surgery is safe and works better than surgery alone. About 40 adults will take part. The goal is to see if this approach can shrink tumors more and improve long-term outcomes.
