Shake and cast: new combo therapy could speed up ankle treatment for kids with CP

NCT ID NCT06693388

First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding whole-body vibration (gentle shaking while standing) to the usual serial casting process can improve ankle movement faster in children with cerebral palsy. About 45 kids aged 3 to 17 who need ankle casting will take part. The goal is to see if the combo approach reduces how long treatment takes and lowers healthcare costs.
