First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This pilot study tests whether whole body hyperthermia — a sauna-like treatment — can reduce fatigue and other symptoms in people with Long COVID. Researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital will enroll 21 adults aged 18-65 who had COVID-19 at least 12 weeks prior. Participants will lie on their backs for 2-hour sessions to see if the heat helps improve daily functioning and well-being.
