Could static on a screen or speaker help kids focus? study explores noise as ADHD aid
NCT ID NCT06057441
Summary
This study explored whether simple background noise—like visual static or auditory white noise—could help children with ADHD perform better on tasks requiring focus and self-control. Researchers compared 60 children, some with ADHD and some without, as they completed computer tasks under different noise conditions. The goal was to see if this non-drug approach could improve performance to the level of their peers without ADHD.
