Soothing sounds and vibrations tested to calm Babies' vaccine pain
NCT ID NCT07286721
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested two simple, drug-free methods—white noise and a vibrating Buzzy device—to see if they reduce pain in babies aged 2 to 6 months during routine vaccinations. Researchers measured pain using a standard scale and compared results between a trained observer and a parent. The goal is to find safe, easy ways to make shots less stressful for infants and support better nursing care.
