First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at whether taking whey protein and collagen together helps muscle growth and bone strength more than taking either alone or a placebo. Forty healthy men who regularly lifted weights took supplements for 8 weeks while following a supervised training program. The group taking both whey and collagen saw the biggest gains in muscle mass, spine bone density, and strength, with no serious side effects.
