NCT ID NCT07195643
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at 559 people who had their gallbladder removed with keyhole surgery. Doctors sometimes place a drain tube after surgery to prevent fluid buildup, but it may not always be needed. The goal was to find out which patients really need a drain, so others can avoid the tube and recover faster.
