Can text messages and family teams help prevent cancer in High-Risk families?

NCT ID NCT04125914

Summary

This study is testing different combinations of lifestyle coaching methods to help people with BRCA or Lynch syndrome gene mutations lose weight and maintain healthy habits. Researchers want to find the most effective and affordable mix of support—like phone calls, emails, text messages, and family teamwork—to help lower cancer risk. The trial involves 384 participants and their family members who receive various coaching combinations for 16 weeks, with follow-up checks to see if healthy changes last.
