Summary
This study compared two different drug combinations for weight loss in people with type 2 diabetes. 200 adults with uncontrolled diabetes and a BMI of 25 or higher took either empagliflozin with linagliptin or empagliflozin with metformin for 4 weeks. The researchers measured changes in blood sugar, body mass index, and waist size.
