First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study compares a new once-weekly insulin (GZR4) with a standard daily insulin (glargine U100) in 580 adults with type 2 diabetes who already use mealtime insulin. The goal is to see if the weekly shot works as well or better at controlling blood sugar, with fewer injections and similar safety. Participants will also continue their usual mealtime insulin and may take other diabetes pills.
