Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app that lets cancer patients report their symptoms could reduce unplanned hospital visits. 166 adults with solid cancer who were receiving chemotherapy or other systemic treatments used the app. The goal was to see if the app helped patients get the right care sooner and avoid unnecessary trips to the emergency room or hospital.
