NCT ID NCT07334925
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study reviewed past research to see if wearable wristbands can help detect infections in patients after surgery. The wristbands track signs of inflammation like white blood cell counts and C-reactive protein, and use artificial intelligence to spot problems early. The review included over 1,200 adults who had eye, bone, or general surgery. The goal is to learn whether these devices work well enough to be used in hospitals to improve patient recovery.
