First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tested whether a simple walking program using a pedometer could help reduce fatigue and improve quality of life in people with lupus. 101 participants were randomly assigned to either start the walking program right away or join a waitlist. The program gradually increased daily steps over 21 weeks. Researchers measured changes in fatigue, physical activity, and other aspects of well-being like pain, sleep, and mood.
