Summary

This early-stage study tests a new mRNA vaccine called VXCO-102 in 45 healthy adults aged 18 to 25. The goal is to see if the vaccine is safe and triggers an immune response against Epstein-Barr virus, which can cause mononucleosis and is linked to certain cancers. Participants will receive either the vaccine or a placebo, and researchers will monitor for side effects and measure antibodies.
